- Athletics (Track and Field)
100 Metre Sprint at Wing Athletics Competition
When the chance to play sport comes around, you will first of all represent your squadron to play against other squadrons within your wing. You are split into the different age groups so you compete people of similar age and size. At the wing sports events there will be officials who watch you and if exceptional you will be picked to represent the whole wing along with others against other wings. Once again if successful you can represent the Region and even the whole entire corps against other cadet organisations!
ATC Sport is one type of activity where you will meet loads of new people with even more similar interests as you, especially if you manage to represent your wing, region or the corps.
As well as the above mentioned sports, some squadrons will also do extra sports activites on a local level, maybe competing with the Army Cadets. 200 Squadron also hires out Barton Slope every so often for the chance to go skiing and even if you havn't been before - you can learn how! In the summer we often have a run down to the beach and play football or just swim if you like.
