 The ATC

Welcome to the Official 200 (Torquay) Squadron's Website. This site is designed to promote the Air Training Corps (ATC) and to act as interactive resource for current cadets.

The Air Training Corps is one of the UK's largest youth organisations with over 60,000 cadets and staff. During your time you have the opportunities to experience things that most people never get to try in their whole life time such as flying, gliding, shooting and adventure training; not to mention the regular activites: climbing, sailing, sport and the Duke of Edinburgh Award.

Thanks for visiting,
- 200 Squadron Website Team

The Air Training Corps is an organisation that was developed to encourage and help assist young people aged between 13 and 20 years old to have a career in the Royal Air Force and similar aviation careers. We have four main aims:

- To promote and encourage among young men and women a practical interest in aviation and the Royal Air Force.

- To promote training which will be useful both in the services and in civil life.

- To foster the spirit of adventure.

- To develop qualities of leadership and good citizenship.
